The CHANGE (Commitment to Healthy Attitudes in Nutrition Growth and Education) for Children Program is a program designed to help children who are overweight.
This 3-month program combines the services of Goldsboro Pediatrics, the Goldsboro YMCA and the Wayne County Health Department. Children enrolled in the program participate several times a week in activities designed to provide exercise and enjoyment for the participants. Nutrition classes are provided for the families and children to encourage proper eating habits. Lastly, children are evaluated for conditions that are associated with being overweight including high cholesterol and high sugar.
If you have further questions regarding the program, please contact Dr. Christopher Griffin at Goldsboro Pediatrics.
